Task Description

You recently participated in GESS Open House 2019 as a Student Ambassador of your Co-Curricular Activity (CCA). The Open House invites the parents and guardians of pupils who wish to admit to your school in 2020, so that they can get to know more about your school (facilities, achievements, culture, etc). It is also a great opportunity to introduce the various CCAs available, in the hope that their children will become new members of your CCA.

Apart from being the Student Ambassador during the event, you were also involved in the planning of the event as a Team Leader. Thus, your teacher-in-charge has appointed you to provide feedback after the event so that improvements can be made to next year’s open house to make it more meaningful and engaging to all the participants.

Write a report to your CCA Teacher-in-charge, including the following points:

  • three activities that have been planned to engage the guests and to let them know more about your school and CCA
  • the response / feedback of the parents/guests during the event
  • the challenges faced by the team during planning and the actual day of event
  • at least two improvements that can be made to next year’s open house
  • how you and your team have benefitted from the event

Your report should be written in a polite manner, with sufficient details included for each idea.

Here is draft 2 – more organised, with smoother transition between ideas and clearer elaboration (although there are some minor grammatical errors).
