What did you like most about Ms Melissa Ng’s lessons/teaching methods?

Her lessons were uniquely different from other tutors due to the fact that she made me copy commonly tested questions and their answers on a notebook. That really helped to ingrain the perfect answers in my head, making it really easy to combat the repetitive O Level questions. The notebook proved useful as I would place it beside me to study and revise/do exam papers. Soon after a few weeks, I no longer needed to refer to the book and I could even recall which page the answers were in. She also did the same questions while I attempted them myself. This gave me a gauge of my speed and accuracy as I had a time reference. It also stimulated the pressure of an exam environment as she rapidly filled up questions beside me.

Why would you recommend Ms Melissa Ng to other students? What have you gained from Ms Ng’s lessons?

I would definitely recommend Ms Ng to other students. She never leaves my questions unanswered and she really tries her best to clear my doubts. After her lessons, I always managed to have a conceptual takeaway. Even after a short span of 2 months with Ms Ng, my chemistry grade jumped from a C6 to a B3 in the O Level exam.

Ms Ng is a warm-hearted teacher who isn’t overly strict yet she manages to captivate the attention of her students.
