Nan Hua High School

What did you like most about Ms Melissa Ng’s lessons/teaching methods?

They are simple, effective and perfectly able to sustain my attention. As I have my lessons online with Ms Ng, she is only able to teach me through Zoom. Despite this restriction, her usage of Microsoft Whiteboard and stylus to write notes makes it easy for me to digest information.

Why would you recommend Ms Melissa Ng to other students? What have you gained from Ms Ng’s lessons?

Other than her effective teaching methods, her technological savviness makes her teaching as good as, or even better than learning in a normal classroom. She is also not as uptight and strict as other teachers might be, so it is much easier to talk to her more about exam results – even discuss about world issues.

I feel that I have a much better grasp of the language, and I am now able to do well in Situational Writing and the Summary portion of Comprehension. The main reason that I am able to do well is due to my widened vocabulary. Ms Ng utilises a Google Sheet to compile many common phrases and words I have to know about.
